DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COUNSELING

Domestic Violence Counseling is a twelve (12) session (minimum) program that defines and explores the nuances of domestic violence.   Recently declare by the U.S. Surgeon General to be the number one health concern in America, domestic violence needs to be understood in all realms if critical action against it is to be effective.  As some may not realize they are perpetrating domestic violence, Edwards Mentoring & Social Services (EMSS) focus is to inform both the perpetrator and the victim / survivor of the many forms of abusive behaviors that comprise this phenomena which impacts many regardless of race, income and other socio-economic factors.  Additionally, EMSS aims to hold the perpetrator accountable, all while assuring the safety and well-being of the victim/ survivor and affected children.
